The Society receives no public funding and is totally dependent on memberships in order to acquire and properly house the records of the families and history of the Tulpehocken area. Dates of meetings, exhibits, demonstrations, talks and annual dinner are announced in the Tattler. These are a chance to meet and talk with other members who are interested in the history of the Tulpehocken Settlements.
Visit and use our Brecht genealogical library and view our permanent and moving displays in the Livingood Museum.
Annual Dues: The annual membership fee is $25. Life membership is $250.
Term of Membership: Annual memberships run from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, regardless of when you join. You will receive all the publications for the year.
Change of Address: Please notify us well in advance of address changes. Publications are sent by bulk mail which is not forwarded but returned to the Society for an additional cost. To send an address change, CLICK here.
Please complete a Research Request Form and enclose a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope (SASE). Research fees are $8 per hour for members and $10 per hour for non-members, for records found in our library. A deposit for the first hour is required. Free use of our library for members, and $3 per day for non-members. Additional time and postage for larger envelopes will be billed. Photocopy service is $0.25 for letter size and $0.30 for legal size.
